Lu Anne is the founder and director of STARS Theater Company and
has over 20 years of experience in performing, directing and teaching. She has developed educational theatre programs for ages 6 to adult. Lu Anne has taught after-school drama programs for at risk youth and the HEB Teen Court Drama Alternative. She has served on the Board of Directors for ONSTAGE in Bedford and the Committee for the Theatre Department at Abilene Christian University. Lu Anne performs locally for television and stage and can be seen weekly on “CityPage Update.” As an experienced set designer, she designs all the sets for the STARS shows and teaches set construction at the STARS Summer Camp. Lu Anne holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from Abilene Christian University. |

Vicki is the Fine Arts Administrator for Arlington ISD where she
is responsible for all the choral music programs, elementary music, speech debate and junior high theatre arts programs in 70 schools. She has taught 11 years of elementary music, seven years of choral music, three years of speech/theatre. Vicki has spent the past 7 years in fine arts administration. Vicki has sung throughout the United States and Europe. She sings with the Arlington Master Chorale which performed at Carnegie Hall. Vicki has her Bachelor of Music Education degree in voice with a minor in performance from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters of Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. |

Theresa holds a masters of music degree in composition and vocal performance from the University of North Texas. As a soprano, her performing experience spans from operas to variety and jazz. Her engagements include the Fort Worth Opera and Regal Opera in both lead and supporting roles. Her teaching experience in the vocal arts encompasses all ages. She is a former assistant director of the Texas Boys Choir where she worked with the Dallas Symphony. Theresa has served as President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singers (NATS), and currently sits on the board. Her students consistently place in competitions and earn roles in various opera and musical theater companies. Theresa is on the voice faculty at Eastfield College and conducts vocal master clinics. She maintains a private studio in Bedford. |

Classically trained in England from the age of 3, Sue is an
Associate of the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She appeared professionally on stage for 10 years before devoting her life to teaching and choreography. Sue has owned a studio in Texas for 14 years and has choreographed musicals such as Oklahoma, Carousel, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Sweet Charity and Cats as well as the ballets Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet and Coppelia. |

Dax has served as Music Director of the Chamber Orchestra of
Denton since 2001. He has conducted the STARS summer musical for over five years. Dax has also conducted performances with Denton Community Theatre, as well as the University of North Texas Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and Opera. Currently he serves as Librarian at North Central Texas College in Corinth. |
